(she/her/hers)
Through my personal experiences in young adulthood and my years as a therapist, I have seen and experienced firsthand how often we are unprepared to navigate the complexities of young adulthood, often without the support we need. I remember feeling stuck, lost, and confused, yet too ashamed to admit this as my peers around me seemed to be thriving (I later realized they probably shared a lot of the same feelings!). This time in our lives can feel particularly isolating, but you are not alone!
Why Lindsay Wasserman?
In my work, I prioritize normalizing mental health issues, the challenges we face, and the importance of taking action on those issues (with support!). Developing meaningful, genuine relationships with my clients allows us to work together to help you unlearn the unhelpful patterns that keep getting in your way, so you can replace them with new understanding and powerful skills that allow you to feel more in control of your feelings and your life.

There is so much pressure - to perform, to be successful, to have a full social life, and to always be “put together.” We also often carry the unrealistic expectation that college fully prepares us for the adult world and that we should have it all figured out after graduation. Young professionals today face unique pressures and demands that are vastly different from those of previous generations. I created the Sterling Group to team up with other relatable therapists with a passion for helping young adults navigate the distinctive challenges of this generation.
