Jessica Attas, LICSW, LCSW

Therapist
(she/her/hers)

I am passionate about supporting young adults navigating the transition from adolescence to adulthood. I work with my clients to address a wide range of mental health and interpersonal challenges including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, body image, grief, dating, and navigating challenging relationship and/or family dynamics.

Through both my professional and personal experiences, I understand the unique challenges that come with being a young adult today. These changes and obstacles can leave us feeling anxious, depressed, lost, and disconnected. My therapeutic style is goal- and solution-focused. I am here to support you in addressing difficulties as well as to cheer on your accomplishments. I believe that therapy is not just a place to discuss challenges, but also a place to celebrate achievements.

I use a warm, genuine, and compassionate approach to create a space in which my clients can show up authentically and develop the tools they need to achieve their goals. I offer feedback in a way that is direct and transparent, yet gentle and patient. My goal is to create a true partnership in our work together.

I have completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and often utilize parts work with my clients to help them develop a deeper understanding of how different aspects of the self affect how you see yourself and interact with the world around you. By exploring the different aspects of who you are, we will be able to take tangible steps toward creating healthier habits for a more meaningful, fulfilling, and empowered life!
